Mike Little joined MSS in 2011 as Consulting Services Director for our Phoenix operations.  Mike has a demonstrated history of eliminating barriers to strategic and project success by crossing functional areas to achieve collaborative support. Mike brings a unique set of skills including: business alignment, solution  design and implementation, and strategic planning to really help clients understand their challenges and find solutions to overcome them.

“A local insurance company hired MSS to conduct an executive strategy session.  The client had several initiatives going into next year, but the management team was struggling to align around which initiatives mattered most for the business. With the limitation of a 1-day work session, we were able to take the client through some processes to help them understand the gaps in their alignment.

“The client had provided us the background information.  But it wasn’t long into the session that we realized we were missing some critical pieces of the story – we had only the IT perspective, not the business perspective.  We had to change our approach.

“So we shifted direction mid-course, gathering the business perspective as we went, and using that input to re-align our recommendations. We were able to help the client formulate clarity around what mattered most moving forward, and within their time constraints.  Now the client is able to use that formula and drive planning projects for the next couple of years.”
