The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, an American Indian Tribe consisting of 10.5 counties in Oklahoma, is governed by the Tribal Council which oversees a full range of programs and services for its members. The Choctaw Nation generates income to fund these programs through a variety of tribal managed enterprises and the profits generated are collectively pooled in the General Fund and redistributed to fund tribal programs and services.
